<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_144265.jpg" alt="Aaron Max Banta" />    Aaron Max Banta, 72, passed away at 9:25 pm CST on May 22, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. Aaron was born on April 17, 1941 in Washington, IN the son of Harold Max and Ermel Louise (Stafford) Banta. Aaron married Mary Elizabeth Helderman on May 16, 1959.
    Aaron was a brick layer for the Local 4 Union out of Terre Haute. He started laying brick in 1957 and was a lifetime Union Card holder receiving his fifty year gold card in 2007. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW in Petersburg. He loved NASCAR and Indy car racing, woodworking and gardening and he loved his family, grandchildren and people in general.

    Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Banta of Monroe City; son, Harold Mason Banta of Monroe City; daughters, Denah Perry and her husband, Craig of Monroe City; Lesa Hofferth and her husband John of Evansville, grandchildren, Brock Aaron Perry, Addison Ryan Hofferth, Vance Anthony Perry, and Brent Max Banta. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, William Justin Hofferth.

    Funeral services for Aaron will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Mark Nielson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Aaron’s family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at the funeral home. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_144065.jpg" alt="Roy Fisher" />     Roy C. Fisher, 82, of Vincennes, passed away May 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. 
     Born Jan. 13, 1931, in Lawrence County, Illinois, he was the son of Willard and Martha (Timms) Fisher. Along with his parents, he was preceded by his first wife, Darlene (Whitson) Fisher; his third wife, Margaret (Black) Fisher; a sister, Mary Jane Brown; and his brothers, Carl, Herman, and Lyman.
     Survivors include his second wife, Dorothy Dean of Olney, IL; children, James (Ona) Fisher of Fishers, IN, Karen (Robert) McBride of Plainville, IN, and Linda (Jeff) Davis of Ft. Meyers, FL; a brother, Thomas (Lois) Fisher of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, Max Fisher, Zac Fisher, Ross McBride, Greg McBride, and Samantha Davis.
     Roy was a truck driver, and a member of the Vincennes VFW. 
     A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 1:00 EDT, at Price Cemetery in Russellville, IL. Friends and family may gather at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, from 11:30 – 12:30, and follow in procession to the cemetery at 12:30.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_143878.jpg" alt="Thomas Charles Summerville" />Thomas Charles Summerville was born Feb. 20, 1939, in Greene County, IN, to Doris (Messel) Lisby and Leo Summerville. He left this life May 17, 2013 at the Gentle Care Nursing Home, where he received loving care. 
     Growing up with his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Allie Summerville, he helped on his uncle’s farms in Greene County. Later, he worked for other farmers, mostly in Greene County.
     In 1977, he came to Vincennes, and spent 30 years working at KCARC, until he had to quit for health reasons in 2007. 
     Tom loved to work, especially with farm equipment. He liked to build model cars and planes, and had a collection of model metal tractors. He took many pictures and was always available to help his friends. 
     He is survived by his sister, Reta Schaefer, of Vincennes; a half brother, Sheldon (Joan) Summerville, and a half sister, Ethelene Leithoff, both of Florida; a niece, Cindy Allen of Evansville, IN; a nephew, Stephen Schaefer of Albuquerque, NM, and a nephew, Calvin Messel of Greene County; and several cousins and great-nieces and nephews.	
     Preceding him in death were his mother and father; step-father, Clarence Lisby; brother, John Messel; paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Messel; and a half sister, Camille.
     The funeral will be at 10:00 Monday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, with burial in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery, on his Grandma and Grandpa Messel’s plot. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2:00 – 4:00.

     A retired insurance salesman, he was also an Air Force veteran. 
    Born November 8, 1943, in Washington, IN, Donald was the son of William Ray and Grace (Walls) Byrer. His parents preceded him, along with his brothers and sister, Jack, Morris, and Linda. 
     Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Betty (Hueby ) Byrer, whom he wed Dec. 30, 1972; children, Don (Tammy) Byrer of Edwardsport, IN, Kelly (Rick) West of Bicknell, IN, Tammy (Richard) Hall of Bicknell, IN, Lisa Zastudil of Florida, and Angela Summers of Bicknell, In; a sister, Rosaline Rader of Florida; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 
     A funeral service will be held on Friday, at 1:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 on Friday. He will be cremated following the services.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_143610.jpg" alt="Janice Palmer" />Janice L. Palmer, 82, formerly of Wheatland, IN passed away May 13, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital with her family by her side.
 
Born July 31, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Janice was the daughter of Charles R. and Ida E. (Edwards) Mitchell. They preceded her, along with her husband Robert G. Palmer, whom she wed on May 2, 1948. He passed way on October 18, 1979.
 
She graduated from Bicknell High School in 1948. She was a member of the Wheatland Methodist Church.
 
She retired from South Knox School Corporation in 1995, where she had worked as a teacher&#039;s aide since 1979. After retiring she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren participate in various sporting activities.
 
Surviving are her children; Robert E. Palmer and his wife Nancy of Vincennes, William (Bill) F. Palmer and his wife Billie of Lawrenceville, IL and Sherry L. Boardman of Winter Garden, FL; grandchildren; Erin Poynter and her husband Todd of Georgetown, TX, Andy Palmer and his wife Leah of Vincennes, Jennifer Parker of Evansville, Bill Palmer and his wife Janlyn of Washington, IN,  Daniel Palmer and wife Samantha of Vincennes,  Julie Boardman of St. Petersburg, FL, Staci Boardman of Greenwood, IN, Jaime Frye and his wife Christina of Vincennes, Clayton Frye of Deerfield, KS, Jake Frye of Lawrenceville; seven great-grandchildren Zachary and Mackenzie Poynter, Isaac and Luke Palmer, Ethan Palmer, Gunner Palmer, and Chole Frye.
 
She is also survived by her sister Jackie Theyssen of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Wheatland Methodist Church with Rev. Jarrod Chattin officiating.  Burial will follow at the Wheatland Cemetery. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_143480.jpg" alt="Carol Eubank" />Carol A. Eubank, 62, of 1723 N. 12th, Vincennes, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Saturday May 11th 2013 at her residence.
The daughter of William &amp; Reba (Manning) Street, she was born March 11, 1951. Her parents preceded her in death along with her step-father, Thomas Gleason.
She was employed in the housing department at Vincennes University for 21 years.  Her favorite past-time was going to rummage sales. Carol was strong minded and loved to help other people.  Taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchild were one of the many joys of her life along with her two dogs, Gizmo and Gidget.
Surviving is her husband, Gene Eubank, whom she married June 28, 1997; two children, Michelle and Jeff Parish, and  Chad and Heather Winkler of Vincennes; her step-children, April Alexander of Oaktown, Rhys and Cassie Eubank, of Oaktown, Troy and Amy Eubank of Vincennes, and Tara Holem of Madisonville, KY; two sisters, Mary and Bill McKinley, and Donna Coomer, all of Vincennes. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jarred Duncan, Justin Duncan, Keely Winkler; her step grandchildren, Nathan Eubank, Jana Eubank, Vince Holem, Sophia Holem, Baily Alexander, Chris Eubank, and Gracie Eubank; and a great grandson, Parker Duncan.
Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Henry Street, William Street, James Street, Robert Street, and a sister, Jean Sanneman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_143481.jpg" alt="Frank Beamon" />Frank Beamon Jr., 76, of 3444 South Field Road, Vincennes, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.
He was born July 22, 1936 in Decker to Frank and Elestia (Durham) Beamon.
Frank owned and operated Indiana Fiberglass and most recently was a cabinet maker and woodworker making many types of custom cabinets. He enjoyed going fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and researching veteran’s history. Frank was proud to have served in the Navy and was a member of the Patrol Squadron 40, and was a member of the St. John’s United Church of Christ.
Surviving is his wife, Marjorie (Donovan) Beamon, whom he married June 24, 1961; his two children, Laura Holscher, Andy and Jennifer Beamon of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Todd Holscher, Katelynn Holscher, Allie Beamon, Kelsey Beamon, and Nelson K. Wesley; and his brothers and sisters, Jessie Perry of Princeton, Peggy Ambrose of Indiana, Delores Deyoe of Decker, Bill Beamon of Decker, Ruth Dent of Decker, Anita Shelton of Decker, and Patty Christenson of Minnesota.
Preceding Frank were his parents, Identical twin sons, a brother, Roy Beamon, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Kate Lambertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park cemetery. Wanda was born on December 12, 1941 in Vincennes, the daughter of Mason and Esther (Hayes) Lane.

    Wanda was a homemaker and a Red Hat Society Club member. She enjoyed board games and loved her dog Buddy. 

    Survivors include her son, J.D. Eisenhut of Wheatland; daughter, Lori Ann Clodfelder, Vincennes; brothers, Bill Lane and his wife Joyce of Vincennes; George E. Lane and his wife Dorothy of Mishawaka, IN; grandchildren, Janell Eisenhut, Erica Eisenhut, Nick Clodfelder, Kaylee Steel and her husband Matt, Karissa Clodfelder, Kathryn Klueh and great grandchild, Liam Clodfelder. Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Marie Eisenhut Klueh; two brothers, Larry Joe and Bob Lane and one sister, Ruth Ann Ruble.

    Memorial services for Wanda will take place at 7:00 pm on Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Friends may visit with Wanda’s family from 5:00 pm until the hour of service of 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. She was employed by Dr. Frederick Spencer as an insurance clerk and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving is a son, Michael S. Peter and his wife Benda of Vincennes, two grandchildren, Eric and Mark Peter; niece and nephews, Ann and Paul Couchenour, Steve and Sandy Spencer, Mike and Paul Spencer, Jim and Kathy Spencer, and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
