Raymond W. Cantwell, 70, of Vincennes, passed away June 26, 2012 at 11:45pm at Gentle Care Nursing Home.
Ray had worked at Packaging Corporation for 26 years. He also had been a driver for VanGo. His memberships included the Free Methodist Church and the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club.
Born August 3, 1941, he was the son of William Dexter and Meriam (Wyant) Cantwell. They preceded him, as well as a son, Roy William Cantwell; and a step-son, Chris Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy (Ruh) Cantwell; a son, Douglas (Mary) Cantwell of Evansville, IN; a step-daughter, Michelle Campbell of Vincennes, IN; a sister, Rita Ann (Dave) Smith of Vincennes; and three nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, at 1:00 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Rev. Don Fasnaugh will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 – 1:00 on Saturday. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
